9 Months!

Avah was 9 mths on the 31st! She has started to crawl a little bit but is pretty lazy! She knows that brother will bring anything to her. She loves to stand up by herself now. She is also pulling up on everything! We have been teaching her how to baby sign and she has more down. She can also wave bye bye! Avah just has one tooth. I am sure the other ones will make their appearance soon. She is such a joy! We love you Avah!

The Big BANG!

Starting the New Year out with a BANG!

About four days ago Christian woke up from his nap saying that "My head is on fire and my feet are cold". Colin and I both laughed at just blew it off. Later that night we went to wash his hair while he was in the bath and noticed that he had a huge spot on his head. We asked him how he did it but he kept telling us that it burned. I went into his room to see what could have possibly done that and found nothing. Colin then said "CARPET BURN!" Sure enough I remember before his nap that day he was being a silly little boy crawling on the floor rubbing his forehead on the carpet. I would pull him back by his pants because he thought it was funny never thinking that it would leave such a huge mark on his head. So besides the carpet burn he decided last night to get down from the kitchen table chair with toys in his hand and landed another gash on his head. I thought he really hurt himself due to my mom's loud scream! Which freaked me out even more. Then to make matters worse about fifteen minutes later he then fell out of the chair AGAIN! Boys are something else!
