Last night Mike and Anne agreed to host a surprise party for my amazing hubby Colin! I had spent all day running around getting things ready. I am sure that you are wondering how I pulled this off well lol... I had to lie which by the way I do not like doing. I told Colin that the girls had to leave early because they had something for the youth then I said that Anne had a dr.s apt so I had to watch her kids and THEN I told him that Deanna was bringing Popeye's so he should not eat before he got there. I cooked pulled pork sandwhichs in a corona bbq sauce and made pork and beans. Michelle brought the salad and D-NANA bought the dip. Mark and Amanda pitched in and brought the drinks. The cake lady did not have the cake actually ready until 6:15 (since when do you have to stress about a cake that you are not baking!) The kids were so excited when he pulled up for small group they all hid. As soon as he walked in the door we all yelled SURPRISE!!! It was awesome. Thanks to Mike and Anne and our small group for being such great sports about it. I was thrilled to be able to do this for my husband! I love you so much!

Today we went with Mike and Anne to Eastern Market in downtown D.C. We had a blast. First of all I love markets and second of all I love the Kuhns! HAHA We had a great time. Tyler and Christian had fun roaming through the market. For lunch we enjoyed fresh Crepes! Christian claimed that he had to pee pee so Colin told him to go behind a bush and when we turned around there he was with his pants down in the middle of D.C. It was pretty hilarious! It was a great day today I hope that everyone out there is enjoying their Saturday as well.

Our Family!

This past Sunday we had Avah's dedication at church. It was a special time for our family as we committed to raising our daughter to know and love our Savior Jesus Christ. Although our family could not be there to join us we had great friends who feel like family there to celebrate Avah's special day with us. A special thanks to everyone who was there!!
