The funny things you say!

Yesterday I kept the Hall girls in the morning while their mom went out to run some errands! Brooke and Christian were in the kitchen and the dish washer had just finished running. I recently started giving Christian chores around the house and for every chore he does he will earn one quarter. At first he looked at me like I was crazy when I actually said he could touch the untensils. Anyways so yesterday Brooke wanted to help and he looked at her and said "Brooke keep the spoons and the forks straight because my Daddy likes them straight in the drawer". I was standing over by the sink and busted out laughing! It is so funny what kids will pick up and say these days. Later on in the morning Christian and Brooke were outside playing and she informed Christian that he must call her "Honey" and that Avah and Morgan will be their kids, yet another funny statement! I love having a house full of kids and watching them all play together! It's funny to hear what they come up with!

Summer fun & 26!

Avah had no interest in partaking in any of the slip and slide activities!
Wipe out!

Getting tossed down the "slick and slide" Christian called it that hysterical!

This picture makes me giggle! She never looks at my camera
and she was totally hamming it up on my birthday!
Me and the hubby!

This past weekend was my 26th birthday! I had a wonderful birthday this year and many people made it very special :-) Colin asked me if I wanted to go out but decided that I would just like to have friends over for diner and just hang out. It was a wonderful weekend and he did everything to make it special for me. I love you! p.s. The flowers were awesome!

Updates on the kiddos!

Christian 4 1/2

Avah 2

Christian is nearing his fifth birthday and is going through a huge growth spurt. He completely skipped over his 4t summer clothes and went straight into 5/6 clothes and also wears an XS at gap kids now :-( He is growing so fast and has been changing in so many ways. Colin and I have decided to hold him back a year to better prepare him for kindergarten. I honestly never thought I would have said that but I am very happy with our decision as I think he will benefit from it. Christian is a builder! He loves to build with trios. In the afternoon for his nap times you can find him building several of his "inventions" as he calls them. That child will be just like his dad! Avah is growing up right before our eyes! She wants to do everything her way these days and all she has is "her own stuff". Avah and her dad thought it would be funny to make up sayings of what everyone in the family says it goes like this.
Avah what does mommy say? "I want I want I want"
Avah what does daddy say? "Imma spank ya booty"
Avah what does brother day? "Boom out of the park!"
Avah what does Coo Coo say? "Pop a top"
Avah what does PAPA say? "Let's play hockey"
Avah what does Gunga say? "Gunga gunga gunga"
Sweet Avah you are to funny! As the kids are getting older and are enjoying their own things life has began to get easier. I cannot wait to bring another sweet blessing into this world!

An Awesome Vacation!

My little sister and Avah

Welch, Doucet & Dotto family vacation 2011

Siesta Keys 2011. Christian, Colin, Avah, Me, Briley, Heath, Dana and Collin Squared!
There were two Colin's on Vacation!

You can't go to PaPa Toe's house and not have Sushi!

This year we went on our annual vacation to my mom's house. My brother called and asked when we were going and said that they would like to come as well. It was a full house with 10 people(my sister was there for the first 3 days) and it was a blast. We spent the first day there just relaxing as we had traveled all day there. On Saturday we went down to Pasa grill beach! The kids were so excited to be at the beach. It was also my niece's first time on the beach as well! She is so cute and the kids LOVED her. On Sunday we all went to Aquatica. It's an awesome water park in Orlando and I highly rec. taking kids 4 and over there. Christian was able to every ride except one. They also have what I call an insane river that Christian loved. It's like a lazy river but only faster and you don't have to have a float! Fun times! After two days in the sun we decided to take the kids to the Tampa Children's museum and they loved that! We went to the beach again for the rest of the week! My mom and my sister in law had a great idea to try a new beach this year so we went down to Sarasota to the Nation's number 1 beach! We are officially spoiled the beach was AMAMZING! It is known for it's cool sand. The sand never gets hot(I know awesome right). The water was crystal clear and it was easy for the kids to walk to the water and back! We had an awesome time and i'll miss my family! I'm still praying that we can get down there!
