Put me in Coach!

Dug out banner!

Batter up!

C going to bat!

Hanging out in the dugout!

Being silly!

Throwing the ball!
Avah and Lydia supporting their brothers! "Go scrappers!"

Christian first T-ball game of the season was so much fun!! I grew up watching baseball an absolutely loved every minute of it! Well except for the part where he left the house without his glove and assumed that he would just catch the ball with his hand! HA! I made a sign for the kids dug out for the game and also dressed Avah in coordinating colors! I know silly right! I just couldn't help myself. We invited our home group to his baseball game and it was great to have people there cheering him on! After the game we came home and celebrated with Brats! The kids skipped their nap which really wasn't a great idea and both were extremely exhausted and went to bed at 7:00! Here's to a wonderful day! Dad this is for you! I know you would have loved to see your grandson playing ball! Enjoy the pictures of Christian playing ball!

Afternoon popsicles!

Sweet Karis!

Christian's Favorite friend! Eating her popsicle!

Karis' first popsicle!

Avah enjoying hers!

So it seems as though we missed Spring here all together! Yesterday it was around 80 degrees! Crazy! It also seems that every time we have a sunny day we get horrible winds here! Luckily in the afternoons our neighbors are some of our best friends! Christian and Raegan get to play almost everyday together in the afternoon and plus it gives us mommies a break! Well besides having to yell at them "Alright you've gone to far turn around!" Here are a couple of pictures of us enjoying the nice weather outside yesterday! I didn't forget about Christian he's just not in the pictures because he was most likely digging in the dirt! GO FIGURE!

Easter Sunday!

All of the kiddos!

Aloe Vera on my right foot! Hmm I wonder who did that?!?

C on his new bike!

Everyone eating diner! We kicked the kids outside :-)

This year we celebrated Easter in VA at home without our family. When I first woke up I was a little bummed but realized that I have my own little family now. Christian and Avah were both up at 6:00 ready for their goodies. Christian came darting down to the stairs to see his surprise! It was a bike. Avah got some goodies for her doll Stella. Then we headed out to the church's early service. After church we came home and started preparing our diner. The menu consisted of Turducken, Tyler Florence's sweet potatoe casserole, green bean casserole and yummy sides that everyone else pitched in to bring. We had the Hall's and the Kuhn's over this year for diner and it was a Chaotic blast! We had so much fun. Kids and laughter filled our house this year! Mike, Ann and Colin took on the task of hiding eggs outside. The kids were so pumped to go and hunt for eggs. After that we came in and well... I somehow happened to have that yummy sweet potatoe casserole fall on my right foot(which just came out of a 350 degree oven after 30 mins!) Yikes! IT WAS SO HOT! My poor toes. Luckily for me the weather has warmed up and I won't look weird having to wear flip flops the next couple of days. It was a wonderful Easter and I think that everyone had a wonderful time! We are so blessed with great friends!

Gravely Point!

Who can say that they took their kids out for the day down to Gravely Point to watch the Airplanes take off at Reagan National Airport. I thought that the day would be beautiful but it ended up being very Chilly and very Windy. The kids still had a blast watching the airplanes take off and I must admit I was pretty impressed myself. If you noticed there are no pictures of Christian on this blog because I spend most of my time disciplining him and putting him into time out. It has been a rough week for my kids as far as listening goes.

Circus!

C's Favorite Part! Motorcycles in the cage!

Christian and Brooke!

We had a blast at the Circus on Wednesday night. The kids LOVED it. We also got to spend time with wonderful friends who are in the process of getting ready to move. I thought I was lucky since it had been two years since a great friend has moved and here I am again losing another! I will miss her and I am sure that our kids will miss each other to. Avah loves her daughter and C loves her other daughter! (lol) He keeps reminding me that he cannot wait to see her at her Dance recital! HA makes me laugh. I am constantly reminded by God that we know some wonderful people here and that we are here for a reason. What that reason is I have no idea!

20, 20 & 20

Avah had her two year check up last week and I forgot to post about it. Now that the weather is starting to warm up here in VA I can finally get back to my business. On all of her stats she got 20%. She will be a little runt just like her mother! Avah is starting to be such a character. She loves to dance and say "look at me". Her new thing is to call me mom! Really mom. What happened to the sweet Mommy? I guess she is just to old for that now. She continues to grow...sort of and loves to pretend that she is the mommy around this house!

Kitchen Make Over!

Before!

After! (Still need to get rid of those stools)

New place mats!
New centerpiece and Table arrangement!

Ever since we moved in this house I have been constantly painting walls, changing hardware, and just adding a special touch to this house. I recently tackled the task of re-finishing a chair for my business and then on to the bathroom cabinets. Colin went on a very long 3 week trip and just made it in town. While he was gone I was quite busy with refinishing the kitchen cabinets and adding new hardware(thanks to my friend) who helped me install them. I also refinished Colin's bathroom cabinets as well. It was supposed to be a surprise because Colin thought the cabinets were going to be white but at the last minute I decided to paint them dark brown. Christian decided that he would tell Daddy what his mommy was up to! Anyways here's the pics...
