Well we finally had our last beach trip for the season. I was pretty sad to say goodbye. Our friends Mike and Anne graciously invited us to Dewey beach for this years last trip to the beach. We shared the condo with the Yorks. I kind of felt bad for the Yorks due to Avah's 6:00 wake up calls in the morning. The kids got along really well and It was a great trip. There is one thing about Home groups that I will treasure forever and its that feeling of family when your real family is so far away. Thank you Mike and Anne for everything and Good bye Summer!

Christian had fun at his first soccer game. I thought it did well for it being right in the middle of his nap time. He still really hasn't gotten the hole idea of the game yet but at least he was trying.

Our annual trip to the Orchard was so much fun. It was a beautiful day out and we had a great time with friends picking apples and celebrating Carter's 5th birthday party. It truly is a kickoff to the fall season. I am so sad to see summer go!

I don't know who was more ready Christian or me! He absolutely loves his school. We had to stop at the Car was on the way to school and he was a little bummed that we were not going directly to school. He was so excited to see his best friend Ayden. They will be in the same class this year.

There is no doubt in my mind that I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the beach. I will never pass up an opportunity to go to the beach. I love the waves the sounds of the ocean the smell of the salt water. The reflection of the sun hitting the water. The cute footprints of my children in the sand. The relaxing nights I get to spend with my husband. I also love the fact that most of the time we that we do go the beach we are surrounded with loving friends whom we consider family. This trip was our annual trip with friends from home. It gets better and bigger(by bigger I mean more kids) every year. Most years friends have new baby's that we all get to meet,we pick a different place and then we all come together to share the experiences and memories that we have missed with each others families that year. Our friends Bobby and Holly welcomed their twin girls about 4 months ago and we were finally able to meet them. They were the sweetest babies ever!!! Our family wanted to take Parker home with us!!! Our other friends announced that they will be expecting another baby in the coming months! How exciting!! Christian and Preston got along so well this year and it is so awesome to watch their friendship grow! I really miss being at the beach and just being surrounded by so much love!!!!!!!

Christian had so much fun at his first day of Soccer practice. We picked up Daddy and headed over the field. He was so excited that he insisted on wearing his shin guards and cleats before we even got there. He did surprisingly well for being the only 4 year old on the team. They will be the Bee's this season! When they were done with practice they all huddled up for a 1.2.3. BZZZZZZZ! lol
