34 weeks

We are at 34 weeks which abs. amazes me. I cannot believe we are almost there. Actually it really could be any day now. On Tuesday we went on our Hospital tour and met up with our Friends John and Racheal from sunday school. Fair Oaks Hospital is abs. beautiful and I really hope that I get to deliver there instead of Fairfax. The Hospital seemed super clean. Not to mention they brew Star bucks right now stairs and have free internet service in the rooms. While on the hospital tour we got to see some adorable new borns a 6lb baby girl and a 8lb baby boy. It was really amazing to see the difference between the two. I'm hoping for the 6lb baby girl this time lol. I don't have another Dr.'s apt until next week and I really need to start packing my hospital bag and leaving it in the car. Towards the end you never know when the Doctor can say alright let's go to the hospital. Her room is almost complete I just have to finish the one chair and then I need to get the car seat base loaded into the car. There are still so many things that I fell need to be done but lol you never really feel ready! As for this little girls name i'm pulling towards one name in particular but I don't think that Colin really feels the same way. I don't know what it is but I feel as though God is wanting me to name my child this. I pray that it works out. I will update next week after our apt.

WHAT A MESS! WHAT A MESS!

This is a picture of Christian being Avatar that I wanted to share with everyone. When Christian is sick he curls up in a ball on the couch and does abs. nothing. So I know that he is feeling much better when he acts like Avatar. As you can see he has is lovely sword in his shirt and his awesome helmet on his head. He's so funny!

Yesterday we finally decided that it was time to have a play date for Christian. We invited Moira, Carter, and Mrs. Mariah over to make cupcakes and decorate some St. Patrick's Day color sheets. Carter had a great time while mean while Christian was having a little difficulty going to the bathroom. Once we got around that he was feeling alot better and started to play. It was so good to see him running around playing. Christian loves decorating cupcakes so he had a blast. He is even as brave as to hold the hand held mixer lol. We all had a great time and we enjoyed our time with our friends.

Pink! Pink! Pink! and more......Pink!

Yesterday my friends threw me the most beautiful baby shower ever! The day started off wonderful everyone was asleep in the house so I was able to take a nice quiet hot bath! Christian woke up around 8:00 and then wasn't feeling to well. I have never seen a child pass gas so much in my life. My shower was abs. beautiful! I could def. tell that all of my friends had put a lot of effort into making it my special day. There was sooo much pink! I think i am finally ready for all of the pink! lol. Jen was so sweet to have the shower at her house! I just love her and to fix extremely yummy punch! I really just want to thank everyone for putting their time and effort into the shower! I felt fabulous and it was such a blessing to be able to spend time with all of my friends and especially my mom. I think that my mom being there was by far the best thing I could have ever asked for. Today is a little sad Until then we are at 34 weeks so technically anytime now!!!!

Saying a little prayer!

Well Christian had started to feel better about four days ago and then we were hit again. He caught another virus on Wednesday so we had to cancel our Hospital tour for Fairfax. I could tell that something was wrong and then the day after he started to run fever of 102. The fever has it's ups and downs. Tonight my mom is flying in so I am hoping that Christian will start to feel better to see his MIMI! I don't think that Christian has a really bad immune system because he had not been sick for a while. I'm just trying to clean the house and stay healthy! I am super excited about my shower tomorrow! YAY

Christian's first hike!

On Saturday we felt the need to get out because we are finally feeling better. We took Christian to Lake Ridge park and there are various paths and trails through the woods. He had a great time picking up all the sticks and going down to look at the stream. We all had a great time together! Here are a couple of pictures from the day! I start to get a little sad sometimes when I realize that it won't be just the three of us anymore. I am however really excited. We are 33 weeks today! Almost there...

SICK...SICK....SICK

Over the last two weeks I have been fighting a cold which by the way is absolutely miserable while pregnant. On Monday afternoon I started to feel really bad and think I either A. got a virus or B. the cold was just upsetting my stomach. We were scheduled to do my maternity shoot yesterday and ended up having to cancel it because needless to say I felt like death. My wonderful husband took the whole day off so that I could get some rest! Thank God! I slept all morning long and then started feeling better towards the end of the night. I still have that nasty little cold and have now taken Christian's humidifier into our room and put it next to my side of the bed just to be able to get some rest. I highly recommend it for anyone else. I love the cool air hitting my face and although I can't breath through my nasal passages it helps me breath through my mouth! I really hope that bubbles and I can get rid of this cold within the next week!!

4D Ultra-sound!

Today we went to get our 4D ultra sound. We were not able to have one while pregnant with Christian because funds were pretty low so we thought let's give it a try this time. I was a little nervous leading up to the day because my last ultra sound was when bubbles was only 18 weeks. So needless to say I knew that she would be bigger and fully formed now. While they were tapping her it seems as though she loves her fingers. I was amazed that we could actually see her mouth opening and her tongue sucking on her fingers! She also is some gymnast with her little foot up to her face most of the time. The guy tried to get Colin to yell at her to wake her up but she was just not having it. Christian seemed to find the ultra sound very interesting. He always gets super excited to see his lil sis. All in all we got a couple of good photos and we know now that if we decide to have another baby we should go in around 28 weeks instead of 32! I would def. recommend the ultra sound place to anyone. The guy was super nice and so was his wife. This ultra sound just made everything so much for real! I cannot wait to see our little angel! Most of all I cannot wait to see the look on Colin's face when he gets to hold his little girl for the first time!!!!!!!!!!

The BIG reveal!!!!!

The baby's room is almost complete! There are still a few small details that need to be completed. I need to recover the glider and paint the baseboards white. Other than that we are ready to go. I guess I should mention that everything in the pictures was custom made by me. Thanks to my mom for helping me with that crazy bumper!!!
