Yesterday was an awesome day! We woke up to some pretty nasty weather but that wasn't going to stop our hard core strawberry picking hearts :-) We went to WestMooreLand Berry Farm in Colonial VA with the Stevenson family! While we were driving there I kept thinking of how big of a diaster this was going to be since it rained the entire time we were driving down there. Once we got there the rain had stopped and the kids and adults were ready to pick some awesome strawberries! The fields were loaded with juicy strawberries and we were basically the only ones there! After we picked we wanted to have a picnic lunch but this year they wouldn't allow you to do that so we drove a little way out of the patch and pulled off on the side of the road next to some creepy house to eat our lunch. It was a wonderful day and all the kids got a long so well. Once we were home Gunga made an awesome strawberry pie! Yummy! I will be sad to see the grandparent's return home on Monday morning!
